Sweet Language Centers

I have created a few language centers that are just in time for Valentine's Day! Valentine's Day holds a sweet spot in my heart. I try to arrange all kinds of themed activities so that we do not have to have a labor intensive party. I enjoy pulling out new activities just for the theme day. Correcting Homophones Language Center

 Students today spend much of their free time on digital devices. Superstar Spelling

Let's be truthful. Spelling is not an exciting subject to teach. Often, we give a list of words on Monday and test the students on their memory of them on Friday. It does not have to be that way. I have found that what I ever I spend time and energy on, my students will too. There are many activities than can provide fun spelling practice. Designating a literacy or learning center to spelling will provide your students with drill and practice that students will want to do.
